From Best Coast to HEALTH, Liverpool Music Week unveil the first acts set for its eleventh edition in October.

Liverpool Music Week enters its eleventh cycle this year and they've confirmed their first wave of acts including the closing party at Camp and Furnace.
For nine days, the city barricades a mass of musical wonderment into its cultural quarters, showcasing a plethora of mind blowing talent from across the musical spectrum.
Iconic post-rock outfit Godspeed You! Black Emperor were first to be announced at the Camp and Furnace on Tuesday 27th October. The same venue will house the closing party on Saturday 31st October led by experimental noise rock band Deerhunter, the awe-imspiring vocals of SOAK and legendary post-punk collective Gang Of Four.
Californian surf rock two-piece Best Coast plug the Kazimier with their sound that brought 'California Nights' (above) on Friday 30th October at Kazimier.
Elsewhere at the Kazimier, electronic pop sensation Holly Herndon is drafted there on Friday 23rd October, noise rock band HEALTH unleash their sonic inventory on the 25th and Josh T.Pearson showcases his burgeoning solo project at on Wednesday 28th to round off the initial batch of exciting announcements for Liverpool Music Week.
