Office Listening: Benet & McKnight Spotify Playlist

Geestar productions brought over some formidable forces of soul and R&B music in 2013, and they've carried that on into 2014. Whilst the likes of Alexander O'Neal, Sisqo, Jagged Edge and 112 all featured, they've got crooners Brian McKnight and Eric Benet on together later in January, so to get us in the mood we cultivated a playlist featuring them both. Stream it below.

It features duets with Bad Boy starlets Faith Evans and Ma$e, golden boy Justin Timberlake and Nelly's fam St Lunatics, with a mixture of syrupy smooth ballads, upbeat club tracks and even some early New Jack Swing from McKnight. Both singers existed on the more soulful tip of the R&B canon, and this is a reflection of the diversity you can expect when they pair up at The Ritz on January 28th.
