Clubbing authorities don't come much more well-received than mUmU. Their approach to curating dance music events is unparalleled, they confidently explore some of Liverpool's best disused and unloved warehouses and historic buildings, and transform them to rave paradises with line ups of equal significance.
mUmU have recently celebrated 7 years on the scene, and within those years they've pushed boundaries with line ups and focused on quality over quantity. mUmU's events have a signature underground feel soundtracks that stretch from the darkest corners of techno to the funkiest highs of tech house.
They continue the birthday celebrations with an event at their home down south, Fabric in London on Saturday 28th February. Room One and Two at the club are headlined by house heavyweights Maya Jane Coles, Craig Richards, Surgeon and Terry Francis. mUmU are set to host the third room with Circoloco's Clive Henry and resident Lee Rands.
On Saturday 28th March mUmU return to the epic New Bird Warehouse for an Ostgut Ton showcase. The Ostgut Ton is the holy grail of techno imprints, owned by Berlin's prolific club Berghain, the label churns out some of the most powerful tracks courtesy of electronic music royalty.
Headlining mUmU's Ostgut Ton event is Panorama Bar resident Steffi, who's renowned for her bass-heavy club tracks. Joining her is one of the most dynamic mixers on the scene Ryan Elliott (check him out in action in his Berlin Boiler Room above). Get your tickets for this event here.
Fast forward to Sunday 3rd of May they welcome one of the most prolific supergroups that have formed in the world of electronic music, Visionquest, to the confines of New Bird.
Visionquest consists of Lee Curtiss, Ryan Crosson and Shaun Reeves, who all bring unique and compelling musical qualities to the table. Special guests include Dinky and Matt Tolfrey. Grab your tickets for Visionquest here.
