Red Bull Music Academy is taking over Manchester for an extended weekend filled with diverse sounds from the industry's leading figureheads as part of their UK tour. We've been spoilt for choice for quality performances spread across some of the city's best venues, take a look...
Grime collective Boy Better Know's JME and Skepta will be headed to The Ritz for a Tropical special on Thursday 16th April with DJ support courtesy of Todd Edwards and Preditah. The following day they'll be taking over Sankeys for Industrial City Sounds with Derrick May and Surgeon.
On the same night over at Manchester's underground haven South, they welcome Detroit legend Omar-S and Doc Daneeker for their Deep South event. On Saturday 18th April things get bass heavy at Antwerp Mansion with Zed Bias performing a live interpretation of his Boss LP (listen above). He'll be joined by Paleman, Illum Sphere and more.
The weekend finishes on a high on Sunday 19th April with a Wax Works special at Great Northern Warehouse. As a nod to record store day DJ Jazzy Jeff, Todd Terry and Krystal Klear will all be playing as part of their vinyl showcase.
