For eleven years South West four has made August Bank Holiday in London it’s own. The Festival has consistently brought top tier talent to Clapham Common and 2014 is no exception – just check the SW4 line up for more information.

Combing through the names is a daunting task, so we’ve gleaned five names which we fell are must sees at this year’’s festival. Let us know if you agree with our choices in the comments.

Loco Dice

Last year's festival saw Loco Dice play out a massive set with Carl Cox but this summer he returns solo for what is sure to be a stand out appearance for the DC-10 staple.

No stranger to the big stage, Dice will undoubtedly exercise his long standing knack of entertaining the festival crowd with his inventory of burly minimal techno and grit laden house.

Deadmau5

Deadmau5 is not one to be ignored when it comes to the festival stage, and with this him making his sole appearance in the capital at South West Four in 2014 he is arguably the festivals most valuable centrepiece, particularly when remembering the carnage he caused for Nokia last year (watch below)

With an upcoming seventh studio album soon to be unleashed will unshackle its undoubted brilliance laden in signature Deadmau5 touches for this true master of the new age of progressive house.

Seth Troxler

For many ravers hooked by the current resurgence of house music in Britain they will be familiar with one of the industry's much loved characters, Seth Troxler.

The man from Detroit has a musical pedigree that includes seismic dates at DC-10, Fabric and Panorama Bar, all pointers that indicate his set at SW4 will transcend into a musical journey entrenched in unhinged craziness.

Catz N Dogz

Continuing the theme of crowd favourites are Polish duo Catz 'N Dogz, who have deservedly earned widespread acclaim with their remix of Thomas Schumacher's 'Hush' (below). Equally as well received was their collaboration with Eats Everything, Catz Eats Dogz which produced 'Evil Tram' which you will have heard dropping left right and centre in the last twelve months.

Their excitable style of house refuses to be categorised deviating from deeper grooves to full on techno monsters, layering anything from hip hop to disco into it all. It makes them definitely worth seeing in the run up to the big dogs.

Pusha T

One of hip hop’s finest, Pusha T first rose to prominence as one half of crack duo Clipse, bringing gritty street tales to the minimalistic purr of The Neptunes' beats.

His solo career has seen him set up shop with the indomitable Kanye West, but his eagerness to work with electronic producers like Chase & Status (check 'Machine Gun' above) on that has gifted his groove a more metallic feel.

If you’re looking for a detour from the thud of house music that still flirts with it, we can’t recommend King Push enough.
