The Rainbow Venues are synonymous with first degree dance music being brought to the area, September is no different with three huge club nights playing their cards bringing house, techno and bass rumblings to Birmingham's prime rave spaces.
The events will take place at NextDoor situated in Digbeth and The Rainbow Complex, which flaunts a new look garden and two intimate state of the art rave capacities with the sole intentions of answering discerning clubbers demands for cutting edge electronic music and a platform to break new talent onto bigger platforms.
Hysteria have been saturating the UK with top quality bass offerings since the early nineties, showcasing the genres vanguards from across the drum and bass spectrum. Hysteria will be blowing heads with three bass driven rooms galvanised by led screens, moving heads and 3D lasers to ramp up the raving experience.
Ram records figureheads DC Breaks, heralded for their bomb 'Halo' (above), with remixes for Tinie Tempah, Paloma Faith and Example to their name, front the night along with MC Eksman coming out of Low Down Deep and Next Hype's backyard.
Rounding up the headliners are influential bass collective Shadow Demon Coalition featuring appearances from Trigga Shaydee and Sly Bassman spearheading the bass bonanza. For full line up and tickets head here.
Moan recordings showcase their catalogue of talent set in the realm of house and techno with Marco Faraone taking over the controls.
The Italian has already been highlighted as an outstanding talent despite being in his early twenties, achieving massive success in the techno sphere with 'Strange Neighbours' (above) on Moon Recordings. Alongside his lone success he maintains a solid partnership with fellow countryman Luca Agnelli, coming into fruition with a string of on the money releases through Get Physical and Desolat.
Joining him is Samu.L, a talent destined for bigger things, already attracting the attention of Saved and One Recordings with his groovy house rollers. In the midst of producing his sought after material, the One Records man has been racking up appearances at UK dance meccas Fabric and Below, confirming him as an up and coming underground thorough-bred. On the back of their August triumph when Richy Ahmed tore the venue apart, Portal are back at NextDoor with Avotre mainstay Sante.
The producer is acclaimed for reinvigorating the deep house genre alongside a new wave of cutting edge Berlin producers, with an impressive musical background manning Tiefschwarz's Souvenir fortress his productions spread from titanic techno purveyors Cocoon all the way through to Defected.
Sante's been making waves of late with his own Avotre imprint that has been blowing Berlin apart, and you can see why by listening to the 'House Lessons EP' above. Grab your tickets here.
We've previously spoken of our excitement for this one of a kind all day rave up. With all proceeds going to Birmingham's Children Hospital, ravers from across the country are invited to test their mettle by undergoing a full day of raving. Sleeping is cheating, and those caught napping will be evicted, whilst those that last through till the end will receive their money back.
With hype about the event going international, we can't wait for this one to kick off. Are you a real raver? Find out by grabbing your tickets here.
This is another night that's been very much on our radar. As one of the UK's most defining clubbing experiences, Godskitchen has been leading the way in the trance world for two decades now. It's 20th Anniversary sees them welcome a suitably huge line up of trance and electronic dance music idols to justifiably celebrate everything the brand has achieved.
The likes of Paul Van Dyk (relive his classic Godskitchen set from 2007 above), Solarstone and Giuseppe Ottaviani's Pure NRG, Godskitchen mainstay John '00' Fleming, Ben Nicky, Ferry Tayle and more descend on the Rainbow Venues for a mammoth birthday celebration. Find out more here.
