With anticipation already heightened for Freeze and mUmU's immense two day spectacular on the 29th and 30th of August, not least through the launch party with Nina Kraviz and Enzo Siragusa in May, the brand new rave venture has today announced its first headliner for the weekend long festival.
Held at both the Bombed Out Church and New Bird Street Warehouse, the event will see a Liverpool debut for formidable Italian two piece Tale Of Us. Since meeting in Milan as youngsters, the duo have forged one of the most in demand partnerships in modern dance music that over the past four years in particular has reaped huge rewards.
The masters of deeply moving, emotional electronic music have been the toast of the underground thanks to searing releases on imprints like M_nus, Visionquest and Life and Death, whilst their strength as DJs (witness that above) has seen them develop a serious following of ardent fans that crave depth and ingenuity in their dance music.
With this being their first time in the city, expect Carmine Conte and Matteo Milleri to go all guns blazing, traversing techno, house and tech house with the kind of skill that has been immortalised in their already legendary Essential Mix. Relive that masterclass below.
Very limited weekend tickets are now available. Head here for yours.
