The Carnival is coming

We're only just about getting over the sad closure of the Manchester institution, but the announcements about Sankeys Ibiza and their opening parties have made that bitter pill a little bit easier to swallow. And now Carnival have given us a teaser video.

It may only be 79 seconds long but on this rain soaked morning it's enough to get us in the mood for the summer ahead. Carnival takes place on Saturdays and rather than focus on a single label or promotion, as is the case with the majority of the other nights at the club, they go for a best of the rest philosophy with a stunning selection of promoters from across the planet, including: 

Air (Amsterdam), Be As One (Tel Aviv), Bugged Out! (London), Culprit (LA), D-Edge (Rio & Sao Paolo), Junk (Southampton), mobilee (Berlin), mulletover (London), Teksupport (NY), Tenax (Florence), WYS (London), The Underground (Manchester) and more.

The opening party is on June 8th with jack master DJ Sneak at the forefront, joined by Hot Creations' Alexis Raphael, William Kouam Djoko and the weekly resident’s Rebels and BONES. The latter, who is also a promoter of the party, was effusive in why the event is going to be so great:

We have teamed up a group of world-class artists and promoters this summer and can’t wait to share their music with an even larger audience.
