The War On Drugs, masterminded by Adam Granduciel and Kurt Vile (who left the group last decade) through their shared love for the Bard of Minnesota himself, Bob Dylan, bring their guitar led attack to the UK stage for another round of indie folk goodness in February.
After a turbulent few years chopping and changing band members the band finally settled, that solidarity helped achieve their debut album Slave Ambient before the induction of Lost In The Dream earlier this year.
Their sound has seen them invite comparisons with everything from Sonic Youth through to Bruce Spinrgsteen, recognised by notable independent label Secret Canadian who snapped them up.
Their latest album Lost In The Dream gave the band ultimate exposure in the UK (check the album's opener 'Under the Pressure' above), landing them a horde of Autumn UK dates which threw no surprises when they all sold out.
The resultant force is the announcement of five additional dates in February 2015 - starting at Manchester's Albert Hall on Thursday 19th February before the curtain closer in Newcastle's 02 Academy on Friday 27th February, and are all expected to follow suit and pack the venues to the rafters.
February tour dates below:
Manchester, Albert Hall, Thursday 19th February 2015
London, Brixton 02 Academy, Tuesday 24th February 2015
Nottingham, Rock City, Wednesday 25th February 2015
Leeds, 02 Academy, Thursday 26th February 2015 (Tickets on sale with Skiddle)
Newcastle, 02 Academy, Friday 27th February 2015
