Overlooking the now-iconic SWG3 Galvanisers Yard that holds huge gigs and festivals alike, is the Acid Bar. This fancy little haunt should be up there on your list thanks to its stunning little terrace, range of beers, and constantly changing food residencies in the kitchen. Not only this, but the surrounding area is jam-packed with street art and hosts one of the UK's biggest street art festivals annually.

With gigs on at night in the space downstairs, this venue is perfect for everything from a pre-gig booze in the sun to a nice dinner date, and should be on any 'best of' list of Glasgow beer gardens.

The beer garden is located in The Winged Ox and extends onto the accompanying green throughout the summer, so they'll be plenty of room for you to booze.

St Lukes has a whole host of gigs and events throughout the year so its perfect to stop by before, but we would highly recommend just going down with your mates for a night, the vibes top and we think in terms of the best beer gardens in Glasgow, it ranks high.

Drygate features a 24-tap bar, an awesome raised beer garden, a restaurant, a bottle shop and a space that functions both as a venue and gallery area, hosting a variety of events throughout the year.

For beer snobs and lovers alike, this place has a beer for every taste and on a sunny day the vibes are immaculate with swathes of people filling up its walls, Glasgows beer garden scene wouldn't be the same without this gem.

Barras Art and Design (BAaD)

BAaD is a stalwart of the city, and whilst having a top-tier outdoor space, the size of which is hard to find in the city, it provides so much more. But, when the suns out, there's only one attraction here that matters.

The Ark

When: North Frederick Street, Glasgow G1 2BS

Where: 11am - 12am every day

Widely known as THE student bar in Glasgow, The Ark is one in the city centre you cant miss no matter your age. Unapologetically modern in design and what it serves, this bar also features one of the coolest beer gardens in the city, with hanging chairs and TVs galore, it's a fantastic place to stop by for a few beers, just be wary, it gets very busy when the suns out.

West on the Green

When: 11am - 11pm every day, open until 12am on Fridays and Saturdays

Where: 15 Binnie Pl, Glasgow G40 1AW

Located right on the famous Glasgow Green, West (ironically on Glasgow's east side) has a spacious outdoor beer garden that is the greenest in the whole city. Surrounded on every side by trees you can escape the urban sprawl here, and it feels like you've stepped into the highlands. Not only this, but the bar has an accompanying brewery of the same name, and is arguably one of Glasgow's most famous.

So why get your beer anywhere else but the source? get on down to West and experience the best Glasgow beer gardens have to offer.

Sanctuary

Where: 59 Dumbarton Rd, Glasgow G11 6PD

The terrace of The Sanctuary has room for over 200 lucky drinkers to chill in and laugh the night away. With an accompanying club downstairs that's open until three in the morning, this is one to stay the night at. Encompassed by awesome murals and a wide range of booze and scran, this is one of the best-equipped Glasgow beer gardens, and with the hip-hop and house beats blasting day long, it's a proper vibe and one you've got to get yourself down to.

Jinty McGuinty's

When: 11am - 12am every day, open at 12:30pm on Sundays

Where: 29 Ashton Ln, Hillhead, Glasgow G12 8SJ

Who said all the fun had to be Scottish when in Scotland? Absolutely no one. When you walk down the cobbled path that is home to the famous Irish bar Jinty McGinty's on one of the rare sunny days, you'll understand why it is on this list. Whilst there is a small beer garden out back, the main attraction is the tables/standing area out front. A sunny day will see many a Scottish revel in the sun and the hustle and bustle of the street is something to behold and makes for a cracking atmosphere on Glasgow's west end.

Even tho it's technically not a garden, it'd be a travesty not to include this on the list of best beer gardens in Glasgow, make sure you get down here once the suns out, it's a right laugh.

Inn Deep

When: 12pm - 12am everyday, closes at 11pm on Sundays

Where: 445 Great Western Rd, Glasgow G12 8HH

Last but not least, this riverside gem is one you could easily miss when walking by. Located under the old railway arches (now a road) on the River Kelvin, this is one of the gems of the city. Serving up some sensational grub alongside a wide range of booze, this is the ideal pace for a quieter stop that's full of great people.

Whilst in terms of Glasgow beer gardens, there are bigger, none of them quite have the vibe that Inn Deep does, it's relaxed but still lively, and our favourite place to stop off for a pint in the sun... So, what are you waiting for? (Just try not to fall in, nobody wants that.)
