Toots and the Maytals Manchester show announced

Having truly shaped the genre over the last half a century, reggae icons Toots and the Maytals bring their rocksteady live show to Manchester this October.

Widely regarded as true pioneers of the genre, the group are even believed to be responsible for coining the word reggae with their 1968 single 'Do The Reggay'.

Toots are known for some of reggae's most recognisable hits. With the likes of 'Pressure Drop' and '54-46 (That's My Number)' all part of their esteemed back catalogue, they bring their authentic brand of reggae and ska to Manchester Academy on Friday 19th October.
