The weather may have turned but the World Cup is on our horizon. And, as luck would have it, lot's of brilliant events.

Festivals

GlobalGathering announced the day split with tickets now available for the Saturday, something also available at Wickerman. Leeds and Reading added more names to their bill, so we then went and freshened up our Spotify playlist.

We've also selected five must see acts at this year's Camp Bestival, picked seven reasons to consider Polish festival Tauron Nowa Muzyka, and previewed WeyFest.

Clubs

Sankeys is closing for the summer, here's a look at their first goodbye party. In Ibiza they've got Duke Dumont on, who dropped a great mix this week, whilst We Love can look forward to the one and only date from Loco Dice on the island this summer.

Closer to home we spoke to chart topping superstars Sigma before they play Ministry of Sound, looked at Let it Bleed's double header in Aberdeen, and the return of Faithless to Brixton. Slightly off into the distance, Scuba and Mixmag is worth your attention, as is Freeze's Bombed Out Church party with Greg Wilson and Crazy P.

Live Music

Loads on for live music lovers. Hip hop fans can rejoice with Method Man and Redman, whilst there's still a smattering of tickets left for Snoop in Middlesbrough and Ghostface Killah in Liverpool.

Kelis heads to Birmingham at the end of the month, lovable weirdos Misty's Big adventure are on tour, with screamo rockers Black Veil Brides on sale this Friday. And there's still a short amount of time to grab tickets for the Pet Shop Boys.

That's all we've got time for folks... till next week.

The above is newsletter emailed out every week to Skiddle Members, done for the weekend commencing 6th June. Want to edit whether you get the newsletter or not? Head here.
