As we begin our slow decent into Autumnal climes, Egg London seem hell bent on warming us up with some scorching nights programmed for October. After a jam packed September, the fearless London venue continues its momentum with even more eagerly awaited club nights.
Amine Edge & DANCE - Going To Heaven With The Goodie-Goodies
Friday the 4th sees the inventors of the fledgling G-House (that’s gangsta house to you and I) Amine Edge & DANCE head up an all star cast including Sion and Kreature. The French duo have taken the house music scene with force recently with tracks like 'Going To Heaven With The Goodie-Goodies' being ubiquitous around the more discerning night clubs in the UK. Their rabble rousing, dance floor prowess has been responsible for some huge parties of recent times, making their arrival at Egg is an absolute essential.
Familia makes a return to Egg on 5th October with Mendo, Ilario Alicante and DJ W!ld in tow for a night filled characteristically with fun, extravagance, circus inspired carnivalesque exploits.
The unstoppable Alola Records provide a label showcase the following weekend with label boss Omid 16b in the driving seat. Since 1994 Alola have been at the forefront of house music’s progression, the imprints arrival at Egg will spark a celebration of all that the label has achieved, marrying highlights from its past as well as some of its newer exploits.
Night Train arrives on Sat 12th with Infinity Ink, Him_Self_Her, Mind Against and Warboy all primed to set the London club on fire with a night of house music brimming with feeling and passion.
Lower East records curate a selection of homegrown label mates and imprint cohorts, including founders Lee Brinx and Cozzy D on the 18th, followed by a Berlin meets London vibe on Saturday 19th starring Deutscheland's finest Tiefschwarz, and London favourites Layo & Bushwacka.
The following weekend makes room for the mighty Yousef and his all conquering Circus party. The Liverpool based purveyor of energetic house arrives with special guests Nick Curly & Tobi Neumann for this special London appearance on the 25th.
Ninetoes - Finder
Halloween celebrations get underway with a welcome return of the Hollywood Forever theme on Saturday the 26th. Expect to be surrounded by a cast of Jimmy Deans, Marilyn Monroe’s, Tom Cruises and Audrey Hepburns whilst the line up boasts tech house giants Nice7, man of the moment Ninetoes (his track ‘Finder’ has become one of the biggest tunes of 2013), Spanish house lord David Penn and Manchester’s finest Audiowhores.
In between all these events is the midweekly Tuesday night Paradox, blending the finest of Italian and UK clubbing philosophies to electrifying effect, featuring international guests, local superstars, and ever impressive residents Ndre and JB.
