Audio Bullys, The Orb and Norman Jay headline three dates over Easter Bank Holiday weekend at London's IndigO2. Fancy winning tickets to each night?
Hosted at one of London’s premiere music venues, the party kicks off on Friday 22nd April with the Audio Bullys, who had a huge chart hit with their sample of Nancy Sinatra’s ‘Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)’. The duo went on to release three albums; ‘Ego War’, ‘Generation’ and ‘Higher Than The Eiffel’ and are confirmed to bring an electrifying DJ set to life in the Capital.
Dance music fans will also be thrilled to hear of the addition of The Orb, who will headline Saturday 23rd April. The duo have enjoyed incredible success on the dance music scene; their most renowned album ‘U. F. Orb’ reached number one in the UK charts in 1992, with the single ‘Blue Room’ becoming a classic club hit. This was followed by the unforgettable ‘Little Fluffy Clouds’ in 1993, which was a top ten hit and is still played in clubs to this day. Their tenth studio album ‘Metallic Spheres’ also saw an exciting collaboration with Pink Floyd guitarist Dave Gilmour.
The weekend will finish with a set from the man who was awarded an MBE in 2002 for services to music and DJing – internationally renowned Norman Jay. Norman’s deep musical knowledge reflects in his choice of mixes. He crosses a variety of genres and coined the term ‘rare groove’.
The support acts for the Easter Weekend are also world class. Friday evening sees A1 Bassline, who is highly championed for success by the likes of NME, Mix Mag and Dazed & Confused, as well as the mighty Hey Today!, Benji Boko plus DJ’s Wez Clarke, Simon Speller and D’arcy.
Saturday’s music spectacular will be supported in the form of 808 State DJs and Lone, as well as DJ’s Phil Mison, Iain Baker and D’arcy, while Sunday’s line up includes Jazzie B, who was awarded the first Inspiration Award at the Ivor Novello’s as well as an OBE, and The Soul 2 Soul Sound System. Ashley Beadle will also take to the decks on Sunday, who is perhaps best know for his time X-Press 2 and their number two chart hit ‘Lazy’.
We have a pair of tickets to give away to each night, meaning that one lucky winner will enjoy an entire weekend of Easter clubbing. To be in with a chance of winning, just answer the question below.
