I've been to the festival since it began, it's nice to see it growing with things being added each year & was good to see family's there, it's great to have an outdoor festival in Aberdeen & I'll look forward to going back again next year.

Travelled from the Highlands to see Primal scream and with family who were interested in chase n status. My 17 year old loved the techno tent. The show as you are aware was delayed due to no toilet facilities for three hours. The atmosphere was very quiet most of the day and there were only three food trucks for dinner so being a regular attendee at belladurm festival I did not feel this event was well organised. I did notice the young ones were catered for well with the funfair being largely made up for toddlers etc.
Six pounds for a small glass of wine very expensive too.

only 1 moan -- 1 token per can of red bull plus 2 tokens for vodka, fair enough. 3 vodka red bull = 9 tokens. So why use only 1 tin red bull for 3 drinks but still take 9 tokens. Cheating drunk people out of 2 tokens, tut tut

Unfortunately it rained so that spoilt the event somewhat and the number of people who left early was evident.

I found the bar situation a bit strange - it advertised the price list for beer tokens but didn't sell the actual tokens, and you had to track down a seller in the field to buy them. I think having a dedicated tent or flagged area would have been more sensible so you would have been able to find them easier.

The last shuttle bus out to the event was at around 5.30pm, which was too early for anyone working during the day, so perhaps running the buses longer would be a good idea?

Late start, bands were an odd choice for a family advertised event, really poor amount of food and toilets, drunk and stoned patrons and Primal Scream were bad.

Had a brilliant time, shame about the delayed start but without knowing circumstances we'll give the organisers the benefit of the doubt. We took our young children and they loved it, family area was great, if expensive for some of the attractions, especially considering the cost of a family tick*t. We would like to see more all weather activities- we were lucky it didn't rain much while the kids were with us but we would've struggled to entertain them if it had rained more as much of the activities had to be covered in the rain. I think we can expect some rain and should plan appropriately!
Would like to see more food options next time, as well as improved bar- maybe c**ktails or a gin bar? Enjoyed the craft beer but the drinks from the main bar weren't great, at my age and at the prices being charged I'm looking for a higher standard.
Hope to see the event back next year, particularly enjoyed primal scream, fubar and the complete stone roses. The crowd were great and atmosphere fab.

Fairly good event, even the rain didn't spoil our day, getting a message an hour before it's due to open saying there is a 3 hour delay is not accepable, if there was a problem with a supplier then this must have been known on the evening before and a message sent earlier. All told though I would attend in the future.

Negatives : Disappointing delay to the start of the festival. Not enough food vendors and queues became massive. Earlier bands sets were cut short and rushed to make up time. VIP wristbands were not worth £15 each. Not enough toilets (especially female) and there should have been an event shelter at least in the VIP bit to have a covered seating area. The better area was the main bar - at least you were under shelter and it's Aberdeen for goodness sake! Need to sort out your planning and logistics for next year and think about the VIP area.
Positives : Being able to stand about 6feet away from Bobby Gillespie. Very intimate gigs. The Little Kicks, Primal Scream and Chase & Status were awesome. Some good earlier bands too.
See if you can get Faithless DJ set next year to headline - that would be even more awesome!

Really good day, good mix of music and the idea of tokens at the bar was good - kept queuing down. 2 points for improvement - more food options (or more availability - queued for about an hour to get chips. Also cleared signs for gents urinals - I didn't see the signs until pointed out to me - would have saved big queues for the portaloos.

Good atmosphere, but amateurish set up. Opened 3 hours late. Only 4 food vans for whole festival. Couldn't get served without queuing for half an hour, so headed home early and missed the headline act.

The delay of the event was a shame, surely something as big as this event for the amount of people going toilets are big on the to do list!!!!
The amount of food outlets was very poor, queues were huge, spent an hour in the rain to get a burger.... was so hungry.
Music was good, toilet queues were ok, atmosphere was good, everyone on good spirits. Not sure if we'd return, we travelled from Fife for the event and for the price .... well I attended a bigger local gala that was free and had lots of entertainment/bands & lots of food choice on hand.... which I spent 10 minutes queuing for!!! So think I will stay locally and save myself a small fortune & lots of time!!

Great line up. Disappointing started late. Would have expected some kind of compensation. 2 free bar vouchers etc.

Second year I have attended photographing the event and it was even better than last year, despite the rain and the late opening of the site due to logistical problems. The event management were able to shuffle the line up so that everyone on the bill still got a slot.

Excited to see what is in store for next year, Primal Scream were a fantastic booking for only the third year.

Despite the late opening and heavy rain, overall this was a good day out. Good bands and nice family atmosphere. The VIP area was very disappointing, no covered area, not enough seats and the stewards were being a bit over enthusiastic about keeping women out of the gents toilets. Perhaps if they had more than 3 ladies cubicles, and had even managed to keep them stocked with toilet paper, there wouldn't have been a problem. However, I was very glad that we didn't have to join the queues for the toilets in the main area, they seemed unreasonably long. Could have provided a lot more food outlets as queues for those were even worse than those for the toilet. Would have expected more merchandise to be available. Back to the music, caught some of fubar who sounded good. The Complete Stone Roses put on a good show to lift spirits during the torrential downpour. Primal Scream emerged with the sun, to bring a good vibe to the evening. Being old farts and feeling totally frozen, we headed back to the Doubletree Treetops for a pint in the warm.

Not a bad effort, maybe a few more toilets and more choice of food, oh and red wine in the bar please!! Some issues delayed the start by 2 hours but music was decent considering tick*t prices
