Review of Enjoy Music Festival 2018
The festival exceeded my expectations. My girlfriend and I bought tickets for one day at the last minute after hearing it advertised on the radio.
I thought that the Hazlehead Park location was excellent and very easy to get to. The festival line up was also very good. I was particularly impressed by Mark Moriss, and the Faithless DJ set was totally awesome! To be honest, I was not really expecting much from this act, having seen countless mediocre DJ's in nightclubs over the years. As this was the first time that I have seen a DJ of this calibre perform, I was totally blown away by the extraordinary talent and understated stage presence of 'Sister Bliss' and judging by those around me, so were many others!
Although the fee for the festival was quite reasonable, we both felt that the drinks from the stalls outside were quite expensive (£2 for a small bottle of water and £4 for a similar sized bottle of iced tea). Plus the Chinese food that was purchased was rather disappointing and quite bland.
This is the first music festival that I have been to where children are present. Although I can see why the organizers would like families to attend, I'm not sure if this is a good idea, considering some of the negative things that the children might witness and potentially be exposed to.
Overall, we had a great time and look forward to attending the festival next year!

Over priced for event on food and drink warm beer varied prices at stall four tokens at one five at another - refused entry into tent chaos with security should have been on a stage for everyone to enjoy - good event would go again if better organised, fresh stone baked pizza from Iceland or farm foods £7 £3.50 from one potato equal under cooked chips and not many of them.

great small local festival, although when you take children the cost mounts up for food and drinks better and bigger festivals wouldnt have cost as much. Also not enough toilets and running out of beer is an absolute disgrace.
