Review of Summer Ball: Session 1
I Think wasn't very well organised .. Nobody knew what was happening , where to go , .. The music first wasn't appropriated for small kids , only after some complains they changed for kids music. The ticket wasn't fair price for what they offer ... Face painting £ 4.00 was very expensive .. anywhere you go it is 1 or 2 pounds only! For the price I paid we didn't get anything .. only couple of pictures and 5 min on bounce castle. Comparing with some many others events we attended this one was very disappointing.

Review of Summer Ball: Session 1
The event was massively oversubscribed making the gorgeous venue a deeply unpleasant place to be. It was so crowded there must have been a health and safety violation. The ticket price was £15 and this only included a bounce on the bouncy castle and a disco in which the music was so loud most children seemed upset by it. Face painting was additional which was not obvious from the advertising beforehand. The organisation was shambolic and I think the charity will have been adversely affected by its association with the event.

Review of Summer Ball: Session 2
My daughter had a great time at the ball however I feel the venue wasn't big enough for the amount of people, I don't know if the plan had been to have the event outside originally therefore would of been more space. Perhaps should of limited the number of adults allowed in with one child. Also having now attended the event I think the ticket was overpriced. I appreciate £5 went to charity but I think £10 would of been more reasonable considering what was on offer and was very surprised to have to pay anything towards facepainting given entrance fee of £15. If going to charge this amount in future perhaps some refreshments could of been provided as an extra touch, the face painting complimentary and some balloon modelling. The venue could also have been better decorated with the theme. Finally I was there before 3pm but by the time I queued didn't get in until 3.15pm and then the dj announced it was over at 4.15pm so seemed a little rushed. Overall the concept was good and the characters did well and as I said my daughter who is 2 years 3months had lots of fun but age limit should maybe of been 2 not 1. It may seem like I gave lots of negatives there but I'm trying to be constructive suggesting ways to improve the event rather than just bashing it like I heard others do on the day.

Review of Summer Ball: Session 1
We arrived at the venue and had to queue for 20 mins when we finally got in the children and adults were separated into two groups, the children having to sit in a huddled mass while the adults had to stand shoulder to shoulder like sardines in a tin.
There were at least twice as many people as should have been permitted in such a small space this raises all kinds of health & safety concerns not the least of which is in the event of a fire how were the children to find their parents and not get hurt in the panic.
The tickets had listed all kinds of things that were to be happening and the fee of £15 for a child seemed fair to have face painting done, bouncy castle play and to see the characters. The ticket price was ONLY to get through the gate NOTHING else was included the face painting was £4 and the tiny bouncy castle would not have supported 1/10th that many children.
The soft play area was a couple of rubber mats and two foam seesaws. The leaflet billed "sweets and treats" there was candyfloss or slush puppies at £3 each and that was all. The vendors at the stalls were selling on items one prime example was a woman selling onesie that were from asda they had all the labels attached they are £7 in asda she was charging £12.
When the characters did come in anyone in the first part of the room couldn't see ANYTHING they could barely hear the song never mind actually see the characters.
We had no options but to leave early along with almost everyone else it was a mass exodus in utter disgust with dozens of heartbroken children.
This ticket was purchased way back in May my niece waited excitedly for 8 weeks to go to the princess party at the castle, spent half the morning getting ready in all her frozen things to meet the characters what occurred was an utter disgrace. In a half bid attempt to retrieve something positive we picked her up some little shoes, 2 hair bands and a placemat which ended up costing £30 solely so her day wasn't utterly ruined.
I cannot stress enough how much of an utter failure this was and that's made exponentially worse as money from the tickets was for children's charity which likely boosted sales.
FAIL FAIL FAIL!!!!

Review of Summer Ball: Session 2
I didn't think it was very good value for the price of the ticket, it was listed bouncy castle, this was tiny & had to wait ages on a turn as it only suited 8-10 kids, face painting which then had to be paid for, Disco which had very little space, photo's with the characters which after chasing them up & down the room you had to take the photo yourself. All this was going on in the one room. Over all I found it very disappointing!!
Review of Summer Ball: Session 2
To loud, far too many people allowed in. I felt crushed. My friends kid of 4yrs started crying because there were too many people and it was too loud. Kids could very easily become lost. We left after 5mins and spent our 1.5hrs in the castle garden which was stunning.

Review of Summer Ball: Session 2
Great event and my Granddaughter loved it. I do feel the venue could have had more space as the main room was long and narrow resulting in a lot going on in one area and with so many tiny children could have been a health and safety issue. I also feel a second Bouncy Castle would have made the flow of children using it, go much better, and also additional staff manning it, as one man was not enough to watch who was getting on and off. However a very successful day.

My 2 grandchildren loved it no complaints from them we bought the tickets for their birthdays they talked about the venue going home in the car .wasn't going very well at start out in the hall not enough room ididnt like the children sitting on floor the main reason was adults insisted on stepping over them on one occasion even lifted a pram over their heads in such a small place .then when it was decided to go ahead into ball room a mad rush from the adults again from behind some didnt care who they pushed out off the way maybe sell less tickets next time .i dont yhink you need bouncy castle or face painting.i think instead could have goodie bags for the children maybe a drink of juice included in the price . Thats my opinion and the children were very happy which was the main thing.and staff were very friendly and helpful .
