Review of The Groove Line presents A Tribute To Disco
The ticket said the event was from 8.30 pm to 1 am but the band only came on stage at 10.30pm and were to play to 12.30am. The band were advertised as a 70s disco but a lot of the tunes were not recognisable as from the 70’s. As this was 2022, I was very disappointed with the venue where group of around 5 people were continually vaping with no comments from the staff. I mentioned it to the bouncers who just shrugged and ignored it. The non alcoholic drink were very small and overpriced especially for those designated drivers as the concert was advertised to end at 1am when all public transport had stopped. Another couple beside us had precooked a taxi for 11.30 pm expecting that they would see al least 2 hours of the band instead of just under an hour. Band and venue not recommended

Fab band if you love disco music then you will love the Grooveline. Danced the whole night!!!
Stage bit small so brass section was sorta lost but what a talented band of musicians. Fab fab fab ❤️❤️

Review of The Groove Line presents GO FUNK YOURSELF!!!!
This was my first time seeing Grooveline & it definitely won't be the last. If you want a night of great funk, soul & a bit of disco this is the band for you. Damn groovy! 😎

Review of The Groove Line performs the music of PRINCE
Grooveline performed well, but this did not feel much like a Prince Tribute night, not by a long shot. There seemed to be a lot of disappointed folks, but we all made the most of the night otherwise and to be fair, the ad hoc songs were well performed. This would of been better advertised as a 90's tribute night and it would of been better received as such, hence all the other somewhat negative reviews sadly.

Review of The Groove Line performs the music of PRINCE
The Groove Line yet again put on a wonderful performance. They are a truly outstanding talent!
The only negative of the evening was that where my family and I were sitting (up at the top bar) we couldn't unfortunately hear much singinging. We think it must have been a sound issue on the night as we were able to hear the DJs music fine. It was a shame as we adore the band. This didn't take away the wonderful energy given by this talented bunch!

I was disappointed with the groove line, the music and band were not a true prince tribute act and did not focus solely on the music of Prince, but of the music of his ears. I. Would not recommend them to friends. A few people I spoke to on the night agreed with me
