I've seen Pond about five times now and they never disappoint.
Nick Allbrook is a great frontman and raconteur, who manages to be modest and exuberant, all at once.
Being backed by a band as tight as his is, they are also on fire with brilliantly danceable vibes, soaring with track after track of intricate psych-prog, and making every audience member smile.
Add this to the brilliant venue that is the Castle and Falcon, and the night out is complete.
The venue might be in one of the weirdest parts of Brum, but its intimate space makes all the gigs there a great, vibrant experience.

Second time seeing Pond and they were excellent and again in a more intimate environment making it more personal - though I fail to understand why they are not bigger in the UK. That aside, they were great, the venue size added to a great sound and just want to see them again.
