Review of Jenny Sturgeon - The Living Mountain
An excellent evening of music and film from a wonderful artist!
As ever the Thimblemill library provided a friendly venue with good sound and lighting to complement the show on offer.
Pleased to see that the gig was sold out on arrival....

Review of Otis Gibbs plus Hannah Brown
Great venue, been there a few times always a joy. I've heard hannah several times before and was the main motivation in going. She did not disappoint. Moving honest songs perfectly performed. Otis was new to me and blew me away. His songs were great, his playing spot on but his performance went beyond all that. He made you feel like a friend and the gig a chat. Great night

Review of The Last Inklings plus Support - Mike Bethel
A very enjoyable evening. It was lovely to hear live music again after such a long break with C19. I thought the musicians were very talented especially their instrument-playing.
I would certainly attend on another occasion but, although I know the venue and surrounding area very well, I no longer live in the West Midlands. The friends I was visiting suggested we went to the library and I was so pleased to take up their suggestion. I hope the club continues to survive.

Review of IOTA (Sally Barker, annA rydeR, Marion Fleetwood) & Support
I thought the band were amazing. They were engaging, unconventional, talented musicians. Their main focus was having fun and this came through loud and clear in the performance. I also liked their outlook on the world as reflected in the lyrics and I felt they were people I would like to be friends with! I would like to see them again in concert.

Review of Whitney Rose (Full Band) & Hannah Johnson & The Broken Hearts
Whitney Rose was amazing. Perhaps it should have advertised more, friends who live in Bearwood didn't know about the gig.
Will keep an eye on the website for future gigs.

Review of Whitney Rose (Full Band) & Hannah Johnson & The Broken Hearts
Fabulous gig in an unusual venue. Whitney did not disappoint and her band were great too. Would love to see her in a bigger venue next time as although the acoustics were good it was a bit small for her band. She is a sensational singer and songwriter and it was a memorable gig. Hope she returns to Birmingham (UK) soon. We love Country music here.
