Review of Soul Love on the Pier
Reall enjoyed the show atmosphere and music were brill. No trouble at all. The only bad point was the cost of food and drink which was a bit steep. Other than that deffo will be going again.

Me and my friend had a really good time, and enjoyed it. The venue could benefit from outdoor heating, as this would have been beneficial as it got chillier. It wasn't as busy as I expected, it was nice it meant you had space etc but wonder if this added to the lack of atmosphere.

First timer and really enjoyed and would go back. Only gripe is you are not told once you are in you cannot get out and come back. Left my jacket in the hotel and wanted to go back for it as by the time soul to soul came on was really chilly ended up in other room to get warm and missed them. Price for ticket was about right but would definitely not pay for VIP @£75 could not see the benefit.

As I’d never been before, I bought VIP tickets You really don’t need them. The exclusive bar didn’t sell beer on draft so used the main bar. The view of the stage wasn’t great , there was no seating until people started complaining . 10 hours is a long time to stand. The atmosphere was much better in main area. You could not leave & re enter to get something to eat. The one stall they did have was inadequate & only took cash , which caught a lot of people out. On the plus side the DJs & acts were good.

Skiffle is a rip off. You can’t cancel anything and Blackpool north pier events are a rip off as they make you buy 4 drinks for £25 even if you just want a bottle of water. Doorman are unhelpful and refused entry with a valid ticket. Avoid Blackpool north pier events

Review of Soul Love on the Pier
The weather was superb which really added to the atmosphere and it was a great vibe inside. You are inside but out as it's open air loved that. Soul 2 Soul were really good and the DJ's on rotation was great playing different genre's of music Rick Star and Ronnie Herrell were the stars for me. I did not hear all of Trevor Nelson's set as I had to leave but he had some technical issues at the beginning of his set. All in all a great event and I can definitely recommend it, see you next year folks.

Refused entry on arriving at 6pm even though i rang blackpool pier to ask when headliner was on. Never informed of this. Eventually let in after remaining calm with other people who couldnt believe what the doorman were saying about a 6pm entry cut off point. We don't drink alchohol so we brought 2 bottles of water that were unopened and confiscated. Inside they said to buy 2 bottles of water we had to pay £25 for four tickets minimum that would buy 4 bottles of water. People leaving all the time saying "don't bother as it is a shambles" I have booked to see soul on the pier event at the same time but now want my money back. Do Skiddle know all this is happening. It is a disgrace!!

Drinks prices were ridiculous
bars ran out of cider and lager
no prior notice of prices before the event
2 DJ sets on at the same time meant that you could hear both lots of music being played
we left the event early

Had to buy drinks vouchers at £25 per strip of 4 which bought 4 cans of regular lager.
Also we left as we arrived way to early , so we thought we would go and have a few drinks elsewhere and we arrived at 6pm after we was told we could but we was turned away and not allowed entry as we was late.
We didn't get to see the show we paid for. It was more like a prison than an entertainment/ night out.
Overpriced and more of a prison. The drinks options was very limited, mostly cans no draught beer and small plastic glasses of prosecco. Absolute joke and ripping people off in these times.
