Review of Proper Comedy with Dom Joly
An unusual venue for a comedy gig but a fascinating place - comfy seats, good music and great bar staff. The compere was poor and did not create any atmosphere and only few laughs. Dom Joly was amazing and had no problem creating a great atmosphere and huge laughs. The 2 supports were funnier and read the room better than compere. A great night out!

Review of Proper Comedy with Dom Joly
Large space with very spaced out sofa s but crammed in chairs.
Was distracting when people got up and down during the show In front of us. Speakers were faulty too.
Difficult set up for comedy.
Did not feel intimate which is usually good for comedy. It felt that the comedians felt this too. But a very interesting venue but need to be spaced differently for comedy next time. Shows were good. :)

Review of Proper Comedy with Dom Joly
Easy to get to venue. Paid for vip tickets which was a choice of the couches, about 6 rows at the front, some with tables. The comedians were all great but it was a huge space so lacked a little in atmosphere but we enjoyed the night.

Review of Proper Comedy with Dom Joly
Great comedy gig. Although, the seats are really far back which takes away the immersive feel you need watching comedy. But the venue itself (bar, lighting and chairs) was cracking!

Review of Proper Comedy with Dom Joly
It was good but the venue needs to do a bit of work, layout of seating was very bad and not what was advertised, one set of speakers stopped working. Dom & Cerys were very good though and the staff at the propyard were very friendly as always.

Review of Squidsoup Presents: Christian Löffler Live
I personally thought this was a over priced night with lack of experience. The Acoustics of the sound didn’t travel far, you had to be at the front of the dance floor to enjoy and the bass was far too loud. In terms of light show only lasted the last 1hour and a half. I paid like London prices for pints, 3 for £20. If I paid £20 entrance fee maybe that would be ok. But £30 and the music wasn’t great. Christian played the best track on the anchor. First time I’ve been out for years. So much more could have been done with the space.
