Review of BEAVERTOWN: Summer Collaboration Sessions - Bristol
Spent what felt like the entire time queueing. 45 mins to get in... fine. 45 mins every time I need the loo? Awful. It was SO bad we'd join the queue not needing to go, so that by the time we actually reached the front we weren't desperate. One girl next to me asked security (who were "managing" the queue ?!) what if she had a stoma bag and was told tough s**t, join the back of the queue. Nice.

Beautiful experience emulating the natural world with light and sound. I felt like I was in the deep sea or flying with a starling murmuration. Incredible soundscapes and so amazing to be so immersed in it.

Review of Beyond Submergence
What was there was amazing but I thought there would be more. There were only 5 different light displays and it just felt like there should have been something more. It was also unfortunate that there were lots of young children running around making quite a bit of noise - which distracted from the exhibition somewhat. I have kids myself and appreciate it’s the holidays but there perhaps needs to be a younger kids session and maybe adults only or those over a certain age, for those who wish to appreciate the whole effect rather than just the pretty lights.

Review of BEAVERTOWN: Summer Collaboration Sessions - Bristol
I had a wonderful time at the BEAVERTOWN Summer Collaboration at Propyard. The atmosphere was friendly and happy, as a young woman I felt very safe. The set up was great with multiple bars, chilling areas and a great dancing area. However, the toilets were an issue. There needed to be more available, especially female or gender-neutral. The DJ lineup was amazing but the sound system/speakers could have been slightly better for ultimate listening experience. A great day!

Review of Beyond Submergence
we loved the experience. We were over an hour and could have spent longer. It is quite expensive but still glad we went. I would have liked the space a little bit darker, found light seeping in where it could have been blacked out a bit distracting, but honestly the lights and sounds were mesmerising.

Skiddle won't let me edit my previous review so heres a new one. Good rave and DJs. Felt massively oversold tho and the lack of toilets were a huge issue causing the queue to go into the crowd. System wasn't great either, sub arrays were fine but the tops just didn't throw very far, sounded good around 5-10m from the stacks but any further away and it was all 80hz kick, hat and waffle, sounded rubbish. Considering the calibre of the artists and the fact it sold out i'm surprised the promoter didn't hire in a premium system from D&B or L'Acoustic.

Review of BEAVERTOWN: Summer Collaboration Sessions - Bristol
Awful experience, there were nowhere near enough toilets for the amount of people that were there - the queue took at least 45 mins! It was overcrowded and the whole situation made it difficult for anyone to enjoy themselves. There were more people queuing than dancing and the dance floor was just made up of queues, whether it be for toilets, food or the bar. The overall vibe was bad because everyone was annoyed about the ridiculous queues and that’s all anyone was talking about. We only stayed for 2 hours then had to leave because we were unable to wait for the toilet any longer, and it was either wet yourself or leave because there was no re-entry. We left just before 6pm and people were already peeing in the corners - I dread to think how much worse this would have got as the night progressed and the unsanitary conditions this would have created! To add to the uncleanliness, we had also notified staff that there was sick on the floor next to where we were sat inside, but no one ever came to clean it up. The whole situation was absolutely abysmal and just neglected basic human rights. I will not be attending any more events here in the future, which is a shame as I feel like this could be a really cool venue if it was organised and facilitated properly.

Review of BEAVERTOWN: Summer Collaboration Sessions - Bristol
Just poorly executed. Toilet queues were insane! people queuing an hour... Unacceptable. Sound quality was very poor and the pricing for beer was exorbitant considering it was a sponsored gig. I was also disappointed that neither of two main DJ Sets actually played any of the music they are famous for. I know a DJ set is a little different to a live set... but come on at least play some!

Review of BEAVERTOWN: Summer Collaboration Sessions - Bristol
Great rave with awesome DJs and stage set. System wasn’t big enough for the amount of people there tho. I’m a sound engineer and thought for the level of acts and size of the audience the sub arrays were fine but the tops didn’t throw far enough unless you were stood within 5-10m of them. Hiring in a ground stacked D&B or L acoustic system considering the event sold out would in my opinion improved the sound the level I expected.
