Worst event I’ve ever attended. Massively over capacity, understaffed and under facilitated. The queues for the toilets were taking close to an hour, it was hard to even find the end of the queue. people were desperately relieving themselves in corners by the fence, there was people being sick and no staff cleaning it up so was just left there the whole time, couldn’t move through the crowds. I had to leave the event after two hours to find a bathroom elsewhere as I have a medical condition and could not wait any longer, there was no disabled facilities and staff were rude and unhelpful when I asked for assistance. I had come from London for this show to see maribou state and didn’t get to see them, so I have wasted £60 on train fare and £180 on a hotel. The event did not allow re-entry so I was unable to come back to see maribou state after having to leave to find a bathroom. Very disappointed and upsetting, I saw many people leaving when I did for the same reason. I’d go as far as to say this event was a health hazard and and I am baffled how promotors get away with it.

Interesting exhibits, definitely worth visiting and supporting events like these. Make sure you stay for the timed event which displays the light and sound as per the artists' intentions. This takes half an hour, plus however long you want to just look around. It's a shame two of the seven exhibits weren't on display due to them being worked on, as the whole thing was a fair bit smaller than I expected, but it was good nonetheless. By the way if you're lucky you'll find on-street parking for free in the area down the road.

I usually love events at the Propyard but this one was a miss. Wish I'd been sent a set list before to know Channel One were being put on first thing (seems an odd choice). Barry Can't Swim and Maribou State were both awesome, as was the lighting, but there were maybe a couple thousand people in the venue and about 20/30 toilets.. not kidding when I say the queues ran literally the length of the Propyard and took 20-30 minutes to make. I had to cut a line or wet myself, and chose once to pee in a cup squat down at the urinals or again risk going before I was at a loo (I have a condition that makes me need to go quite suddenly, but even still, hundreds of drunk people weren't loving that experience either, became the topic of conversation). Also only 2 food venues, one vegan option and no gluten fre options, and pints cost £6.65. May as well have been in London.

Last entry time of 4.30pm was too early. Resulted in huge queues for the bar and toilets for the first few hours. DJ sets from Maribou State and Barry Can't Swim were not to the same quality as their own music. Pints of Beavertown were expensive even for the going rate these days. I wouldn't go again.

Overall a poor experience. We left early (like many people). The security staff we incredibly rude and obnoxious. The food stalls ran out of food. Drinks choices were okay but not great. Music generally was repetitive and dull after a while. The venue is too small for the number of people, you kinda just stand in this large gravelled area. Bad vibes all round.

Unfortunately, Prop Yard didn't do well for this event. Aggressive security and bag searches, ridiculous no re-entry/late entry rule, too many people for the space, not enough toilets especially for females and no staff about to help with queuing/crowds. Add to that the beer was over priced considering the brewery isn't event independent anymore. Saving grace was some good DJs but event wasn't worth the price of ticket and we left early. Shame really as have liked previous events held here.

The two artists I came to see, Maribou State and Barry Can't Swim didn't play their songs as part of their DJ sets, it feels like false advertising to use their names and not play any of their music.
I expected the atmosphere to be chilled based on the artists song catalogue, had fun none the less but it would have been good to know the vibe upfront.

Whilst the venue is a cool space, I was incredibly frustrated by the toilet faculties - particularly the amount of toilets available for female use. At one point, we had to line up for the toilets for 55 minutes. When we arrived, there was barely any space to dance due to the size of the toilet queues as well. The toilet queues did reduce, however this was only due to lots of people leaving - which is likely due to the toilet issue. As a result, I doubt I will likely attend a prop yard event again.

The biggest issue was the event seemed very unorganised. I appreciate the weather wasn’t great but they were around 40-45 minutes late opening. Security were still doing their safety briefing and turning up when it was supposed to have already opened which again didn’t give a good impression. Not much of an apology of the late opening and lots of members of the team (especially the senior organisers) looked less than bothered we had been kept waiting. They didn’t try and engage with anyone. Overall I still love beavertown beer but would not come back for this type of event in the future.

The band we went to see only played 1 song…..it was advertised as the main thing for the day. We had to be in there from 4.30 last entrance and wait … we ended up leaving early as it was such a joke, friend stayed to the end and told us they only played the 1 song. Couldn’t leave and come back. Felt like a con to make us buy drinks and food in the long wait. Dj wasn’t my thing which is fine but it was nothing like the headliner. Hate leaving negative reviews - don’t usually do it but this got my back up

Oversold tickets, when we arrived we were told that the venue was at capacity and we were denied entry despite purchasing tickets weeks ago. Very disappointing

Totally oversold tickets for the capacity of the venue, bar queue was bad but toilet queues were ridiculous. The speakers sounded really fluffy. Left after half an hour. Spent longer waiting to get in. No shelter from rain and umbrellas banned.
