Saturday, I think the headline acts should be brought on earlier and a dj to finish the day as by the time the last act got on stage the crowd was too drunk. You could actually hear the crowd over the act which was struggling to get a response. Also the base was too loud on both days and you could hardly here the acts on stage, especially with the more mature singers.
Sunday was disappointing too many teenagers! Base too loud and the main act was late and the festival was left with no music at all, not good enough! Again I would prefer to have the acts on one after the other as the gaps were too long and possibly a dj to finish the evening.

More headlines, resolve sound tech issues, too high of a price point for what your getting, DJs playing niche songs on and off instead of crowd pleasing hits consistently, dj garden set was felt like a place to hold the young people, like day care centre lol felt like there was a lot of stock put in to try to please both demographics instead of just focusing on the classic soul music
Only one main stage and and small stage/dj tent - very limited in comparision to other festivals
- very dissapointed with the stilt butterfly ladies - the adverts made it seem like their be graceful and energetic be floating around, seeing them here and there, throughout the fest - saw them one, just.....there. and very few of them
Headliner on day 2 was half n hour late and as they were the last act got half their set cut off!

Great Line-Up on the Main Stage, and really enjoyed the music and atmosphere. Prices for alcohol were quite expensive, but they generally are for festivals. Toilets were absolutely disgusting, they didn't flush at all, even though we spoke to those responsible for them, nothing improved!! Good range of food outlets, though again expensive. Didn't help that the weather was rubbish but no-one can predict that! Will consider going again though.

Review of Soul Town Festival 2024
Really enjoyed this festival - definitely our genre. Good crowd of friendly people and the whole event felt very safe. Plenty of security on site. They were very thorough on checking bags and pockets on the entrance. Good range of food outlets. Bars were operated efficiently. We would definitely go again.
