Review of Soul Town Festival 2024
Shame not enough seats so you are on your feet all day. Haystacks waste of time too low. Some acts were late so unable to get full set. Should have had dj between to stop crowd complaining. Apart from this bars and food stalls well set up and run all staff were pleasant. Not disabled friendly.

Review of Soul Town Festival 2024
The headliners played for 20mins. No explanation was given for the delay. No music was played for a while which affected the atmosphere.
Drinks and food were a little overpriced but the tickets were massively overpriced for the amount of time the bands were on
Very disappointing

Review of Soul Town Festival 2024
The house tent sound system had issues with its Volume levelsand was low and you could her people talking.
I think it was not good value for the money & also I didn't see maxi priest on Saturday line up.

Review of Soul Town Festival 2024
The soul side was great, fab atmosphere and a great night Saturday. Sunday was very different lots and lots of teenagers, security forever sorting out fights on the house music side, it was a totally different atmosphere from Saturday and personally I felt it was spoilt by the kids unfortunately

Review of Soul Town Festival 2024
Very disappointed with the sudden rushed ending of Earth wind and fire. They were late on stage, only sang one well known song, they were rushed to finish and cut short of time. Very bad organisation of soul town and very poor performance.

Review of Soul Town Festival 2024
First time at the event we paid for VIP tickets
Staff were friendly and lots of people there looks like we was going to be in for a good night
Drinks are pricey
We had a voucher for food, which did not cover the cost of any of the food that we wanted so we had to pay extra on top of the food voucher
I won't mention a couple of the singers were really poor. I think they were great in their day but getting too old for live appearances. All we could hear with one of the artists was the backing singers. She hardly sang a song all the way through.
We have been to many other events and this one was probably the poorest
I think the worst thing of all It was running late and yet we was standing for half an hour with no music in between each artist and when earth Wind and Fire come on To the stage for the last performance of the evening they sung for songs which were awful the lead singer Was so very weak and we could not hear a word he was singing nothing like the real thing
But the worst thing of all was they stopped at 9 pm after singing four songs they said unfortunately they had to finish because of the time if the organises had the singers or the bands play earlier and not have the half an hour wait times in In between it would have been fine, but this was not to be
There was a lot of unhappy people at the end. There was some people who were fuming at this.
To cut the main performance at the end short after four was so unreasonable no one come on the stage to talk about what had happened or why they had to finish no one took responsibility at all really shocking
Also, it was very unprofessional when two guys on the stage who do the sound started arguing and pushing each other around while Earth, Wind & Fire sung their songs
This is totally poor performance
It was a shame we was hoping this was going to be a good night out after spending nearly £480 on four VIP tickets
Avoid
