Review of Soul Town Festival 2024
Bought Tickets on Saturday to see Billy Ocean, but was replaced by Four Tops. who were poor. Tavares, the Tramps and David Grant were good but Billy Ocean would have been worth the money. As someone who doesn't drink, no Alcohol free beer was a shame and food choices limited, fish choice would have been nice. Atmosphere was good until 21:30 when everyone left. Should have bought Sunday tickets.

Absolutely fabulous day, unfortunately i lost my phone but someone decent handed it in to Security. I just went back to the ground and collected it from the Manager. So thankful to them

The timings of performances were inaccurate and where you were expecting eg maxi priest for at least an hour and got 30 minutes or so was disappointing. He should have perhaps been on last and the earth wind and fire experience was okay but not brilliant, some of the singing was not as it perhaps, should have been .

Quality of Sound was terrible,all you could hear was bass ,struggled to hear singing,great big gaps in between acts ,probably because there was an act (Atlantic star ) missing!Terrible choice or rather no choice of drink ,unless u liked Jack Daniel's or gin ! £9 for a quarter of a small plastic cup of Prosecco is shocking !This was the first year I went home sober and sadly probably my last year as prices will probably rise again

Mostly great but very disappointed that the Sunday night headliners, the Earth Wind and Fire experience came on late then only did a 20 minute set because of the 9pm curfew. No explanation was given. Our VIP tickets promised lanyards and merchandise but these were not provided. Further despite the included meal vouchers stating that they could be redeemed for a meal at any of the food outlets we were told that they only had a value of £8 and were charged a £7 supplement.Greater clarity of the VIP benefits are needed.
