Review of Retro In The Park 2022
The music and atmosphere was amazing. Particularly enjoyed Basement Jaxx and Hacienda classical, with live singers. I will definitely be going next year!
The few things that let it down was not enough bar staff, waiting over an hour for drinks is ridiculous. As is paying £6 for Red Stripe s**te or £3 for a can of water! Surely water should be free or £1 if they must charge.
And toilets. There’s never enough and the VIP toilets were a joke. Around 10 loos for the whole VIP section.
If the organisers sort out more bars and staff and have more toilets, it would be perfect.

The bar Q and prices were ridiculous and impacted the whole experience. The loos were also as bad (so can’t blame the lack of staff for that!).
The sound clashed because both tents were outside, disappointing they got rid of the big tent and dance tent, felt like they had less going on.
Won’t be back.

Review of Retro In The Park 2022
My first time at Retro, all people keep saying was last year was much better. The music tents were not as expected, the 90's tent was not on.
Really disappointed and won't be going Retro.

Queues for everything was ridiculous. Queues for over an hour every time you went to bar and they opened the cans so you couldn’t get multiple drinks because you couldn’t carry them! Prices were a joke, £6 for warm cans of red stripe or strong bow. £3.50 for half a cup of c**e or lemonade poured out of a £1.99 2 litre bottle which was also flat and warm!
Queues for 45mins plus for food, there was only 3 food stands that I saw, for a stupidly over priced thrown together gyros that was £8.50!
Getting rid of the tents was a stupid idea. You could hear the other stage because it wasn’t far enough away from the main stage.
It was enough to put me off ever going again. Seems like they got greedy this year and a lot of upset fans!
