Review of Kamper Fest (formally Kent VW Festival)
wow Fridays evening entertainment was very good. Excellent ska band a female vocalist pulled some brilliant tunes along with the band. To follow a DJ battle. Didn't do silent disco but good idea for those wanting to stay up later. Quex was a great venue but I like to choose where I camp sadly not the case, hopefully can be revised for next year there was lots of space. I get we need to have lanes for emergency vehicles! Signage could be improved to show where water and rubbish points were, we took most of our rubbish home. Not much of a welcome as we drove in, guessing stressful for those organising. Not many made the effort to Dress up but Frank Spencer was excellent. A good choice of stalls but would have liked more no t shirt man, ice cream. Hubby tried the noodles and they were very nice. Coffee stall could have been put further up the field not behind campers as generator on from 06.30am to 01.30am. Bar was having problems and didn't open til later around 7.00pm but we bought our own. All in all a lovely weekend, just abit cramped for room.

Toilets where disgusting bar was understaffed for the volume of people . Music was good but people ignored rules and there was broken glass in several places on site some irresponsible dog owners letting the dogs loose and attacking other dogs and letting them s**t without clearing it up . Pissed up adults behaving dreadful when it should be a family event. I go two at least 5 of these events a year and this was by far the worst I've seen was my first time at this one and will be my last.

It was a very lovely festival, very chilled out, everyone so friendly too.
The price was fantastic.
The food stalls were amazing, with a lot to choose from.
I would definitely go again.

Review of Kamper Fest (formally Kent VW Festival)
Terrible that everyone was shoehorned into a small space with such a lovely venue, previously there was dedicated family camping signs so annoying that if you had children you had no quiet until midnight. Poor food stall selection, long wait at the bar and a lack of suitable lighting

I think there are a few things that need to be changed. More water points, more entertainment especially when arriving on Friday. Needs to open earlier to allow people who are travelling a long distance can get in and set up. The bar was not good at all, they kept running out of everything and not very friendly either. If it wasn't for Kelly's and Lauras Tipple tin bar, who were lovely, it would of been a disaster.

I booked though Skiddle as with everyone else, however I payed an extra just in case I had to cancel though hospital.
Unfortunately I indeed need to cancel.
So contacted Skiddle for refund.
I have not received any response except I had to contact the organises.
When you read when you book the Organisers, take no responsibility for any bookings it's all done through skiddle.com. The whole thing he's turning into a joke all you do is get passed around bearing in mind that I did pay the extra for the cancellation if needed organisers, take no responsibility for any bookings. Wouldn't visit this again.
Camping was so cramped.
The main attraction field was awful.
Facilities were minimal.
Definitely won't be going next year and it's on my door step.

Review of Kamper Fest (formally Kent VW Festival)
Very poor activities for the children, fun fair had 2 rides that were suitable! No rubbish bins, toilets were dreadful and very poorly positioned! Foodstalls inadequate for all diets nothing suitable for children to eat! No ice cream, chips or donut vans! No music or live entertainment for the children! In all a very disappointing festival and not worth the trip!
