Review of Kamper Fest (formally Kent VW Festival)
Dreadful. We only stayed for one night. Everybody was camped too close to each other, no respect for others regarding noise. Not much going on and won't be going again. Absolutely awful.

Only one standpipe for water in the hold of camping area was packed in way too tight plenty of room left where we could've camped and there was nothing to do during the days no events or nothing for children and where the actual food And Barr and funfair was was far to spread out Very good weekend

Camper vans parked together like sardines, noisy 'neig*bours' with no regard to others, no staff on site to help in the evening, low budget music acts/DJ's, definitely not child friendly with all children activities cancelled, the majority crowd are there to drink, party and smoke.
Probably the worst camping experience I've had and then I'm being generous.

My only comments are that there were not enough bins and we felt a little crampt whereas there was a huge amount of space available, maybe offer the option of being closer or more space away from the entertainment. Really good time though, thank you.

Toilets were the worst I have ever seen with no hand washing facilities or even sanitiser!
Upon arrival (Friday) we were all packed in, could hear the conversations of those around us. It seems the later arrivers could camp further away with no restrictions.

Had a great weekend with kids , grandkids and their friends. Slipmatt always get us up and dancing. Great stalls to wander round. Food stalls great and not overpriced. Well run event for all ages. We had a great time. 3rd year for us. Only downside was the loos. Most were blocked and flushes didn't work. Used the disable toilet and it leaked underneath as you peed. 🤣. Good weekend had by all and so local for us.

I would love to recommend this festival but compared to others I've been I was disappointed. Marshals squeezed us in less than a foot from our neig*bours and we're not flexible about positioning us, later we found the other side of the field was almost empty despite our side being packed. There was a lack of water points (only one for the whole camp which was a 10 minute walk), toilets were sparce and regularly dirty also although it would be a luxury a shower trailer would also have helped. On a plus side the music and bands were very good.

Fantastic weekend, affordable, family friendly, great atmosphere with memories to last a lifetime. Music to suit all. Never been to a festival that is kept so clean and safe.

So disappointed and definitely would not recommend, not enough to do there food choices were very limited entertainment what entertainment? Music was not good and no only 3 vendors and a couple of overpriced rides, sounded like it was going to be loads going on but absolutely nothing: would not come again or recommend wish we didn't bother wasting £100 to go for what you had to offer.

Shame as could have been great the main layout didn't feel right, way to spaced out, real lack of bins and toilets where not clean even at the beginning of the event, most didn't even have hand sanitizers, wrist bands and event guides had run out and we got there pretty early, camping was on top of each other, but tent music was good and the guy playing out of his van too, I wouldn't say it's a family event more cantered for the younger adult,
5mph drive around rule but the work vehicles were definitely not sticking to this rule at night. But maybe just teething issues
