Review of Big Tribute Festival Comes To Leamington Spa!
Been before and it was great, bad manners. was really looking forward to this and considering i ordered the tickets on the day i was comfortable it would be on....turned up and not even a notice on the door!!
place completely closed. how unprofessional. this had also apparently been rescheduled from last November As for skiddle issuing tickets i can only assume they weren't aware. completely wrecked the night..not impressed
Review of R.E.M. By Stipe
My first time seeing Stipe and I hope not the last. Great musicians, creating authentic R.E.M. sounds and excellent frontman in the style of Mr Stipe himself. A massive nostalgia trip and great fun!!

Excellent band and great environment.
You wont get any close to REM than these guys who are totally committed to recreating the most original version of REM . The lead singer has Stipe’s mannerisms amazingly.

I've not visited the The Assembly for over 8 years and was very disappointed indeed.
The bar area appeared to be temporary.. for such a great venue, the large TV screen set at the stage area..was partly blocked to the left hand side due to boxes speakers or something stored and piled up.. so can only see half of the screen during the match...
No debit card accepted at the bar to purchase drinks and we're in the 21st century.. so was cash only and I didn't have any cash on me.
No draft beers available via a tap on offer whatsoever.
The drinks choice was very limited, and ridiculously expensive and for the beer, only purchased by a 4x can pack or 10x can pack, the cost of a 4x can pack £20, this was such a rip off in the current cost of living crisis.. when you can buy a set of 4x cans for under £5 from the corner shop...
I didn't buy any drinks because of the rediculous bar set up and what was very little on offer to entice the customer to spend money and with only having a debit card on me.
The management could have thought more about the hospitality or the lack of it!
