I think it will be my 5th time using charge candy for various festivals and the price is good for the power banks I use over the week I'm there. Definitely will be using them again for future ones too.

I don’t liked he fact I challenged the price back in may as you were offering chargers at 18.95 but those weren’t on sale I asked about it and got a standard response when I messaged following up I had no response. Not great customer service and was false advertising

Very quick service. Chargecandy is definitely worth getting when going to a festival as it gives your phone a full charge each day.

Pre booked but had issues with initial charge, as after showing confirmation email they charged me again rather than just taking a deposit, after this problem I then noticed as I was picking the charger up on the second day they had already marked as marked off the previous day's charger even though I had not had it.

The charger capacity was also very limited and would not fully charge my google 7 so by end of the festival then phone battery was dead. Will look at alternatives next year

Kind of saddened by the phone charger, one of the nights my phone barely left half way full, I literally left it and went back to it and it had shot down to 16%... Think the chargers fried my phone, always charged with my phone off as advised by the staff.. there were quite a few dud chargers by the sounds of it... Zero charge today as my last charger died a hour after using it yesterday... Guys at the stands were great, just a shame the chargers weren't merely as useful as they could've been...

Found the experience of using Chargecandy very easy, we used a power bank per day between 2 of us and this kept both phones charged with capacity to spare. A very good idea that is well managed and friendly staff. Will be using again at next years Download

My chargecandy experience at Download was more than disappointing. The chargers at 5000mAh should charge an IPhone once. I purchased two festival packages, meaning that we could swap the two chargers for a fully charged one, once a day for the entire festival. Out of the 10 chargers we only had one fully charge our phone. All the others put around 20% charge on the phones before being completely flat and stop charging. We charged our phones when we went to bed so it’s not as if we were using the phones while they were being charged. The £10 deposit(x2)! Expect a huge queue to get your deposit back in the end we had to leave because of our transport arrangements. All in all I paid just short of £80 to charge mine and my wife’s phone for 5 days and with the exception of 1 charger hardly got 20% a day! Raised the issue each day with staff and was told it’s probably an older one, and told the new one is a newer one and should be ok!

A complete waste of money and I would not recommend chargecandy to anyone. You would be much better off buy bigger capacity one off Amazon. At least that way if they are rubbish like the ones used by Chargecandy you will be able to get a refund.

The music was LOUD and the staff were dancing pretty much every time I saw them. It made for a good atmosphere. The staff were great and very quick at serving. The charger managed to get my IPhone pro plus to 70% before failing which was more than enough for the day. Worth the money and the charger itself wasn’t too bulky so took up next to no room in my bumbag.

Batteries were clearly very used, capacity not what's stated. Handy to have but expensive.
