Marisa & the Moths were awesome as ever, I love this band. Good Support from Desensitised but the pleasant surprise were MuddiBrooke! Definitely a band to check out. My first time at the Hairy Dog in Derby and I was impressed. They have a separate bar with a DJ as well as the main room which is a great size. The stage is big and the in house sound system is very good, plus an impressive lighting rig which really adds to the show. I will definitely look out for more bands at this venue.

First 2 bands were great. M&TM probably were too but had to leave after a couple of songs due to the big LED light pointing at the audience messing with my photosensitivity & making me disorientated. Why do lighting engineers insist on blinding the crowd these days??? It never used to be a thing.
The ticketing system was needlessly complicated too.
Had a good night though!

How many different words are there for outstanding? MATM themselves are totally phenomenal and bring a breath of much needed fresh air to the music industry, they simply never cease to impress at every level, but also the support acts, wow! Desensitised, and Muddibrooke were incredible, they will definitely be joining my playlist. What an amazing night at a great venue, well worth the overnight trip to Derby.

Ably supported by Desensitised and Muddi Brooke, Marisa and the Moths blew the roof off with songs old and new, all loudly appreciated by an enthusiastic crowd. Catch this band soon if you want to get up close and personal-they'll be playing much bigger places before long!
