Review of Doncaster Hot Air Balloon Festival
The balloon festival, as the name suggests, is based on attractions related to balloons, e.g. flights up a few meters, the possibility of seeing a balloon or basket up close, entering it or other related things. The organization of the entire festival was poor, many attractions for children, practically nothing for adults, 2 bars covering the entire field with 40-minute queues for drinks, 8 balloons that took off one from the other during a long break, a light show with 4 balloons. And the fireworks at the end, instead of delighting, were equally disappointing. Balloon festivals organized in other countries are at a completely different level with many attractions for both adults and children. I suggest that next time the organizers take more care of different age groups, not only the youngest. It's good that I live in Doncaster and I was able to get home quickly, even though the ticket was cheap, I regretted that I had bought it for two days. If I had traveled far away for this supposed festival, I would have greatly regretted the wasted time. I wouldn't call it a balloon festival, but a family festival, then I certainly wouldn't be so disappointed.

Review of Doncaster Hot Air Balloon Festival
We came to the Doncaster Baloon festival for the first time and were very pleasantly surprised at what was on offer. There was plenty to entertain the younger element with fairground rides etc. The program of displays and entertainment was varied and interesting, particularly the Viking re-enactment ( I am slightly biased towards that as my Neice and her family were part of that.) The only downside all weekend for me and my partner was, as we're both over 60, the music being played between displays etc. was a bit annoying as it appeared to be aimed at people under 30. For us there should have been more variety, including songs for our agegroup. We had a good time though all told. It was a shame that one of the MotoX riders had an accident and we hope he mends quickly.
P.S The baloons were spectacular.
