Review of Knockengorroch Festival 2023 - Official 25th Anniversary
I go to a lot of festivals, many similar to this one. it was a shambles from the start. arrived when it opened just after 10 on Thursday. very few campervan pitches. no large ones which I paid for. no proper stewarding. People pitched where they liked. all crammed in. fire lanes blocked. loads of feral dogs roaming out of control. music was poor. only 1 stage outside. sound was poor. lots of dance tents until sunrise. but main stage underitilised and no bands were particularly memorable. strange festival, unlikely to return. highlights were the local brass band on Sunday and the local ice cream stall. for £140 ticket 1 person, £65 large plot for campervan, £12.30 booking fee, £1.50 handling fee. total £218.80
Not good value and many better comparable festivals out there. Avoid ð

Review of Knockengorroch
Met a lot of great people but found the overall vibe quite strange? It's described as a World Ceilidh but contains very little Ceilidh music. The diversity isn't there as the event is heavily dominated by drum & bass music which reverberates your very core till 5am for 4 days straight. I spent an entire day getting home today and can't say it was worth the long travel times. Would definitely NOT recommend this event to anyone.

Review of Knockengorroch Festival 2022
Really the friendliest festival around. Organisation was a bit scatty - not necessarily a bad thing but those arriving Friday had to try to find a space in an already busy site.
