Review of Knockengorroch Festival 2024
A truly remarkable festival in the hills which provides food for the soul and friendships that last a lifetime! If you are looking to get back to nature and celebrate community in the same way as our ancestors, this is the place for you 🧚♀️🌿🤍

Review of Knockengorroch Festival 2024
Way to many vehicles and atrocious traffic organisation. Insufficient straw laid down to combat swamp conditions. Management of toilets excellent and standard of acts amazing . The management must surely know Galloway is wet and we're I'll prepared.

Review of Knockengorroch Festival 2024
We paid for an extra large pitch but didn't get this. We know this wasn't just down to the weather as we had been told, as this has happened to others in previous years.
The music curfew in the supposedly camping area (it was more simply an area to park vehicles) wasn't enforced hence we had loud "drum and base" playing throughout the night until 7a.m. from the neig*bouring truck, which was only 5ft away.
We did not have room to pull out the awning on our motorhome. We felt totally hemmed in.
The closeness of the surrounding vehicles made us concerned about a fire risk, especially when there were bbqs and fires being lit near to the vehicles.
There was nowhere to empty motorhome toilets.
The programme of music seemed quite unorganised, with some bands in the bar tent being put together on the stage. Whilst some bands in this tent were playing their set, on the main stage opposite a band would start playing. This drowned out the bar tent's music.
If this was a free festival we would not mind these issues. However, we paid for this entertainment. We've been to many festivals of similar price and sadly this has to be rated near the bottom :-( . The location for the venue is lovely and the staff & festival goers were very friendly. The chemical toilets were kept fairly clean and the site was mostly litter free. However there were not clear signs as to where recycled/non -recycled/compostable rubbish should be put.
All -in-all it was not a festival we would attend in the future and would actually love a refund!!!!!
