Review of Knockengorroch World Ceilidh 2018
Music was quite samey this year so slightly disappointing.
It was completely unnecessary to have a security guard at the bar door stopping people come in with drinks. This resulted in many folk boycotting the bar and as a result probably losing money.
Although we take some drink into the bar, we end up staying and buying from the bar, usually around £100 each over the weekend and there were around 20 of us.
Still a fabulous festival though, but the security on the bar certainly was a disappointment for both the punters and the bands who folk never went to see due to bar rules.

The best small festival around, friendly, earthy, relaxed and creative. Needs a few small improvements here and there but overall we love going and it is a wonderful few days.

Review of Knockengorroch World Ceilidh 2018
One of my favourite festivals, been going for over 10 years, even if you don’t know any of the bands they are always quality music, good to dance to and unique. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, no matter how you want to have fun, be it raucous or relaxed.

knockengorrach is my favourite festival. It's small and intimate and friendly and affordable too. I've been going for around 10 years now and don't plan on missing it ever. 😊
