Review of Monument Festival
Zero security efforts made at this 'family event'
People smoking and taking drug's openly.
Facilities were absolutely disgusting.
The main act pulled out on the day of the festival.
Absolutely appalling and most definitely not worth the money I paid to see the Kooks. I would like to speak to someone regarding this even.

Review of Monument Festival
On arrival we had different instructions from the campsite wardens about where to park. 4 portaloos for the campsite was ridiculous but worst thing was they were full from the previous weekend, absolutely disgusting and unable to use. VIP area was a waste due to not seeing the stage from the beer garden. Don't recommend and obviously won't be back.

Fab night great music however headliner (the kooks) cancelled and no announcement or notification that they weren't playing which was very disappointing we only found out through a friend on the night

Sadly, this event was extremely poorly managed. The grounds just were not accessible. Everything from disability access to the main headliners cancelling on the day. I wouldn't bother again.

Review of Monument Festival
It was an absolute mud bath, the headliners dropped out and the loos were smelly - but - it was cheap as chips and the atmosphere was fantastic! Festivals are cuddly, portaloos always stink and things never go to plan, I love that we have this on our doorstep and The K's stole the show for me, they were incredible. #vivatheks

Review of Monument Festival
Far too small a space for that number of people, and far too few facilities. We stood on a small island of green grass all day near some toilets and I'm not exaggerating when I say there were never fewer than 200 people queueing to use them. The handwashing water was gone by 1.30pm.
The atmosphere was horrible, the conflicting noises of the two tents, the fairground and the unidentifiable stall to the left of the main tent, were overwhelming.
The late start and the inability to run to schedule all day meant we just watched hundreds upon hundreds of people all trudge in one direction, turn around and trudge right back... all day.
We left early, there was no enjoyment of the day to keep us there to suppose Jake Bugg's headline set.
The sound for all acts was atrocious, when they had any anyway!
I wasted a day's holiday for this torture.
