Great day out with some awesome music! Not hindered by the rain but routes to the stages, toilets could be improved for wheelchair users.

This could have been a great event. It wasn't overcrowded, a good line up, great ticket price and mostly decent weather. Unfortunately the organisation was awful. The site was ankle deep in mud and manure (it stank) before a single note had been played; we were told we couldn't bring camping chairs but they were everywhere, including in the tent, with security seemingly doing nothing; the event ran really late; the sound was awful (mixing was shocking and one singer was seen trying in vain to get his mic turned up) and there weren't even any boards or sand or anything so you could get into the tents without being ankle deep in mud and cow poo. We smelt so bad by the end of the night that we had to apologise to our taxi driver and leave a handsome tip in recompense

Absolutely terrible, no way near enough toilets and the few ones you had were SHOCKING,, The main act pulled out!! We camped but I will never be back to this bad festival ever again , I will tell as many people as possible not to attend

The Monument music festival offered a generally enjoyable experience with many positive aspects. For those looking for value for money, the festival certainly delivered, providing a range of performances at an affordable price. The atmosphere was vibrant, and attendees felt safe and secure throughout the event.

However, there were some areas that could use improvement. The site faced issues with muddy conditions, and it was clear that there were no effective contingency plans to manage this, which affected overall comfort. Additionally, the festival felt a bit overcrowded at times, leading to a less relaxed atmosphere than anticipated.

The sound quality also detracted somewhat from the performances, and the stage splits and timings didn't allow for a full experience of all the bands I wanted to see. Despite these issues, the positive elements of the festival shone through, making it a worthwhile and memorable event. With a few tweaks and better planning, the Monument music festival has the potential to be even better in the future.

Bad labout, no open stages, tent was a bog inside so difficult to acces and a row of toilets right outside the entrance of the main tent meant if you wanted to sit outside the tent you had to endure the stench of urine from the overflowing loos - not good

Bands that were there were good. Grounds were a state. Headliner dropped out and 0 compensation was given, therefore price could not be justified

Toilet situation was awful. The precious Kubix toilets were fenced off next to the site and they had 7 days to bake in the sun. There was 6 inches of liquid mud that smelt of excrement in front of the main stage that you had to stand in to get to the front. Some of the food stall vendors were rude and obnoxious. Bands were great and it was a shame the kooks had to cancel. This festival looks like its now ran on greed. Very very disappointing. We Ave been attending this since it began and you could catalogue the yesr on year decline. We also go to Hardwick every year and its head and shoulders above Herrington Park. We will not be going again and are switching Kendal calling

I've been to the last 5 of these festivals and enjoyed all of them. I thought this year was a couple of headliners short and was lacking good punk and post punk bands that had been on previous line ups.
You shouldn't have to queue 30 minutes for a toilet whilst missing bands, there were loads of toilets in the background that weren't in use and needed to be. Toilets needed much more regular cleaners, some were getting closed while a queue had waited ages as they were blocked.
There must be a way of covering the muddy ground in and around the music tents as it was a mess

A unpretentious music festival that has grown every year. The bands are great it's well marshalled and never been aware of any unpleasantness. The toilets were by the end of the day apocalyptic and clearly too few but maybe like Glastonbury every so often the field needs a year to recover as two years running the mud in the tent has been neanderthal. Small niggles... This is a day for people who love music and will give bands a chance.

Good music, disappointing The Kooks cancelled but Jake Bugg was brilliant! Microphones poor, sound could have been MUCH better, very difficult to distinguish words especially when talking to the crowd.

Disappointed that the Kooks pulled out, very muddy in parts, loos were poor, drinks over priced. Security was poor.
