Review of Midstock Festival 2018
This was my third time at Midstock and as usual, it did not disappoint. Well organised, family-friendly festival with a brilliant atmosphere. The queues at the entrance, bar and loos were minimal and went down quickly. Would recommend to any age group. Thanks to Team Midstock. Amazing weekend!!

Amazing family festival. Fantastic weekend, mixture of music for all ages & taste. Brilliant atmosphere. Bar prices wee bit steep.
But hats off to the organisers they do an amazing job. Please keep it going it's the highlight of our year in Dalkeith. Cheers

Tighter security required to stop drink and drugs, particularly in underage guests.
Bit pricey for food and drink but was to be expected... should let guests take picnics in and search for hidden alcohol.
Saw security let a number of young guests passed who were already drunk by 13:00 and watched the same guests become out of control.

Absolutely disgraceful that all the confiscated food stuff was binned and not passed to a food bank. We actually walked a few hundred yards along the road and found a church who were thrilled to take our food for their food bank. the fact that we weren't allowed food in anyway was a put off know it was meant to be some licencing issue however at Let's Rick in June food was allowed, what is the difference now? All that aside once the festival got going it was a great day and night, very expensive though especially if your their with your kids and having to feed everyone ECT. Would.like to see better planning on the food front for next year as this may put.us off.
