Review of Midstock Festival 2018
Another excellent year for midstock. When you concider that the whole thing is organised by local people without the backing of a big corporate body the festival was good value for money and the quality and prestige of the acts was impressive.
Drink and food prices were a bit above previous years but not so much so that it leaves you wincing at the bar, in truth it's still cheaper than Edinburgh city centre but more healthy options might be welcome. One criticism that unfortunately arises every year is there never seems to enough women's toilets and I felt sorry for the women who seemed to be queuing for around 15 to 20 minutes at a time.
Overall, we had a great day and we hope to return next year
