Stand up is always a lottery and we didn't win the jackpot that night. Venue is okay and they've got a reasonable selection of decent beer. The "VIP" tables looked like a complete rip-off though.

Absolutely awesome! Would definitely recommend a night at the Monkey Barrel. The host was fantastic and the acts were hilarious! Really good intimate venue with a fantastic selection of beers and drinks.

only seconded week opened hope stays open a good night had by all will be going back again and beer is cheap for Edinburgh hope stays that way it is a must see warm friendly and welcoming and loads of laughs. it about time we had more comedy clubs well done to the monkey barrel.
