Review of Subway Cowgate
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I waited at the front of the queue for nearly an hour, and was denied entry by the bouncer for “refusing to move out of the doorway and having no concern for their staff”. At the same time the manager was parked on double yellow lines across the road blocking ambulances, and they had the cheek to say we were being inconsiderate. I feel sorry for the dying people in the back of ambulances, who have to suffer consequences because of idiots like this.
Review of Tamagotchi NYE Party
Me and my six friends decided to spend our NYE at Subway. It all started well, the music was great through the whole night, unfortunately the same cannot be said about the staff. Most barmen were very rude and it seemed like they did not enjoy their job. Especially a blonde barwoman with two ponytails. She had an attitude. My friend ordered a vodka and red bull and got vodka with cranberry. She then told the bar girl that it was not what she had ordered and she must have misheard it. The bar girl then argued with my friend and eventually gave her “vodka and red bull”. This wasn’t the usual vodka and red bull as we had been ordering it all night and always got a vodka in a glass and a can of red bull separate. My friend was then asked to leave the club as she made the bar staff upset. She got no explanation whatsoever. All seven of decided to leave the place and go to a more respectable place. All seven of us spent quite bit of money in Subway (not to mention the entrance fee) and would have spent more if the bar staff had behaved better. I must also mention the state of the bathrooms. I don’t think anyone cleans them throughout the night. There was vomit everywhere, including the sinks. The only good thing about the place was the dj and the music. Not a bad thing can be said about it. I am afraid I will not recommend this place to anyone.
