Review of TAMAGOTCHI - HOGMANAY
As a visitor to Edinburgh we were eager to enjoy Hogmanay. It came as a surprise that as 3 adults, one of our group was asked for ID (why sell tickets to someone who may not be entitled to enter without verifying at the time of sale?). We then provided evidence of identity (photo ID) showing a scan of her passport, but again this wasn't accepted, despite being obvious that the person concerned was eligible. It amounted to a determined effort to deny entry, assuming ineligibility even in spite of evidence to the contrary (hardly good for business, or image, or as a way to attract tourists). This reflects bad on those selling tickets without caring to whom, and those at the door who treat guests as people who seek to break rules despite evidence being provided
