Feel like I witnessed a wee bit of musical history tonight with a one off set from Sawyer. Worth the ticket price alone! And then Part Chimp upped the anté with a blinding headline set. What a gig. Didn’t see Stuart Braithwaite’s DJ set as we left about 2230 but am sure it was cracking.

You would never have known that was Sawyer's first show in 9 years! Absolutely superb!

Ticket said 18:30 but it was 19:50 by the time we actually got into the venue. Security on the door were a joke at the beginning,and the management of people at the entrance was abysmal. Access to other venues and the steps outside the Mash House were blocked. It was obvious given the nature of the gig that this was going to be an issue and staffing and crowd management was a massive failure. The two heavy set men doing the initial security work should not be doing this work again their attitude and abilities were shocking. I had serious concerns at point about safety on the steps outside I feel it was only luck that there was not trouble and injuries. Communication and crowd management should be a priority for events here
