Review of Playground Festival
Great outdoor venue, food stalls, toilet facilities and cleanliness was pretty good. Could use some spotlights near the exit gate for end of the night as it was completely dark leaving the park. Would like to have the option of being able to leave and come back considering you get a stamp on the arm, it chucked down of rain and with no shelter couldn't leave to get changed and come back in.

Review of Playground Festival
Waited 45 minutes to get in to venue. First DJs (DJ Format) was playing to a crowd of about 10 people, atmosphere lackluster. Got slightly better but let down by Lauryn Hill at the end. The bar was very badly organised with long queues while there were plenty of staff working the bar they didn't have a clue and no one seemed to be in charge.

Review of Playground Festival
No free drinking water on site, no control at the toilets, excessive queues for the bars and food, headline act, Lauren Hill was over an hour late performing, only played for half an hour and spent that time complaining to sound engineer, when it came time to leave, had to walk through a pitch black park with no stewards to assist, tried to contact playground to give feedback and emails keep coming back as failed to send, very disappointed, would not recommend this event

Review of Playground Festival
Great location, next to a train station, so easy to get to. The stage area was the perfect size - not overcrowded and you get a good view of the stage no matter where you’re standing. There weren’t enough portaloos and it took an age to get served at the bar, come night time - that’s standard for a festival though. We were annoyed by the fact the larger beer tents were only selling small cans, whilst the tiny stand was selling pints for the same price. The food stands were superb - excellent choice and really good prices for the quality - nice wee area too. Loved the acts - got the crowd going. I’d definitely go back if I liked the line-up.

Review of Playground Festival
Only went to the last day as wasn't interested in seeing Lauren Hill as new her history of not turning up to gigs or not being great live. Wasn't impressed with the Friday line-up either. Sunday was great but only Pictish Trail Django Django and Hot Chip were really good. Nice food though and decent drinks on offer. Also great crowd and really nice that it wasn't all gin like other places, which can be rubbish.

Review of Playground Festival
Over priced drinks, long waits in que for bar. I waited an hour for a gin. I loved the layout of the site but there wasn't much to do if you didn't like the main band on the stage. Groove Armada smashed it out the park. Their performance, the lovely weather and crowd is what made it! Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this event due to the poor organisation and wait at the bar. Hope you guys can learn from this and do better next time.

Review of Playground Festival
Long wait for drinks. I qued for an hour for an over priced drink and there were rumours (from security) in the que that they were running out of gin. Drinks were also over priced.
The surroundings of the park were beautiful and I liked the way the festival was laid out. I loved Cuban Brothers and Groove Armada. Not so keen on friendly fires and there wasnt much to do if there was a band on that you didn't like.
Really nice crowd and Groove Armada smashed it out the park, which is why I have rated atmosphere as a 4 .
