Only negative was the venue was so hot with no air conditioning or fans working, apart from that the sound was good, great DJ’s and brilliant set by Danny Howells.

The music was spot on and the atmosphere was amazing. The room could do with some sound damping as if sounded like there was a bit of echo at times.

Enjoyable evening but felt the balance of sound was not good. Singers were overwhelmed by the rest of the band and their words were indistinct. Would have like a shelf /bench to lean on , put drinks on etc....but enjoyed our evening.

What a fabulous live band, belting out , not just a set, but a SHOW, two hours on stage without a break on a hot night (aircon not functioning unfortunately!) great songs, brilliant both vocally and instrumentally, Brave Rival are a band to be reckoned with. Good to have a venue putting on artists of this level in Hastings.

Band were amazing!! First time seeing them live, the two girl vocalists were incredible!! Nice little venue with friendly atmosphere and very welcoming staff. Great night 👍

Brilliant Band, nice new venue, friendly decent promoters, the only thing that needs improving is to get the air conditioning working. Black Box was renamed Sweatbox! Excellent night, lost some weight too!

Fantastic gig, the band were amazing. The venue has a good bar & is in Hastings Old Town which makes it even more interesting.
