Disappointed that there were so few people there. Despite that, Sasha and Frankie Wah knocked it out of the park. Their sets were outstanding.

What happened to the promo on this event that meant it was so poorly attended? No flyers around town at all. But saw loads of adverts and flyers for reggae on the pier and the house festival happening the same weekend.

the event as a whole was ok but sounds system was rubbish, bought tickets for after party which was a no go as wasnt allowed in because dj didn't turn up so wasted time & money

This event was an absolute shambles. Oversold tickets, not enough toilet facilities
We paid over £100 for 2 VIP tickets which turned out to be worthless. No queue jump, not given wristbands, eventually got them to find VIP area was behind the stage?? Toilet facilities that were only for VIPs were eventually being used by everyone, so too the rooftop area. The sound system was dreadful. Janet Kay and Caroll Thompson were excellent and I was lucky to be in the front so I could hear, others were not so fortunate. I will be asking for my money back.. never going to this again. So disappointed 😞

Reggae on the Pier was a bit of a joke to be honest. The staff did their best, and were pleasant, and the people there were obviously up for a good time. But the sound was absolutely shocking - you could hardly hear it, one of the speakers was clearly broken and sounded awful. Levels were all over the place.
Bars were badly stocked and expensive. At one point they ran out of beer, and were selling cans with '4 for £5.49' printed on them (obviously from a shop) for £6.50 a can. Absolute piss take (and not even legal).
Really disappointing for an event that cost £33, and an insult to the people performing. Won't bother with any of those pier events in the future.

We could not hear the music and only 12 porta loos , so this meant long ques and when in the que you could not hear the music at all - worst concert ever

I would like to complain about this event. The sound system blew up and we couldn't hear the people performing! they sounded awful. I was so looking forward to seeing these guys but it didn't go well. Also the que for the toilets, was awful 1 hr and they were dirty!! please come back to me with the organisers details as I would like a refund!!!

Awful organisation.
Nowhere near enough toilets leading to huge queues.
The sound was awful for a lot of the show.
The prices for drinks were high even for festivals and they ran out of beer so started selling an inferior product for the same price.
If this is how they run their festivals then I will steer clear in future.

- The all day was crap !! It was too much!! Very badly organized !! At
First was said that after getting inside you were not allowed to go out anymore!!! From 12 am to 10 pm!!
Then because there were huge queue for toilets, it has been changed that actually you could, as everyone could or did start to pi anywhere possible.
- The most problems was the very bad sound system!!!
We couldn't hear a thing!!! Unless you were at the very front!!!
This went on all day!!! Shame on all of you!!! Including Dan Peen could not sing!!! As already so old she even said that the microphone was not working!!!!
Only for the very short set of Rodrigan , the microphone were sorted!
- Rodrigan played so ridiculously little!!! All day long the music was very bad , and he came at the very end playing NO EVEN A FULL HOUR!!!!
Honestly I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!
I got disability and told you as I've asked for a care to come with me, the toilet were impossible, and I HAD to please the Manager or an idiot that was looking after the entrance to the toilet from his Restaurant CASA DE PIER , I showed him my double pass for specifically people with urgent needs, he didn't let me go because I was not a customer, and worse of all he said : IF YOU ARE DISABLED YOU SHOULD STAY AT HOME!!!!!
I do want to complaint for this disgusting situation , where I was badly treated and told off , although my disability.
I have the picture of this man as he refuses to give his name!
I do intend to go ahead with this SERIUS COMPLAINT, so please say what needs to be done ASAP

The sun was shining and we had a nice time but sadly the sound system wasn't great. I could hardly hear the baseline. The venue itself was picturesque but the vendors struggled to cope with the volume of people. I spent most of the day in a queue either for drinks, food or the toilets. It ruined it for me and many others.

Really good day only problem was the prices of the drinks. I live in London so expect to pay for alcohol but not for it to change. One of the bars.... we paid £16 for a bottle of wine, 1hr last charged £26 then hour and half later wanted to charged £38. They had no prices displayed and when questioned couldn't answer. I am sure legally prices should be displayed..... disgusting and daylight robbery and prices should be consistent throughout as it was at some of the other bars with prices displayed.

The music didn't sound good as there were technical sound problems.Lack of certain drinks as they kept running out.Not enough toilet facilities as had to queue up to 30 minutes at times .Not good organisation for fold up chair area as they were to near front of stage .We meet a few people who had enough and left very early to go to the pub .We chatted to people from the VIP area and where they were positioned they couldn't see the stage and queue for drinks was longer than the other bars apparently.

It was the first time at a venue on the pier. So I also took the upgrade to VIP, I arrived at 13.00, the fast track worked well at entry, but then all else was poorly organised with the VIP area was at the back of the stage so the sound quality was very poor, the queue for the bar took at least 45min to an hour. The toilets was even longer at times, in my group was some who needed quick access to the toilets which was traumatic for them, the food quality was not up to a standard that I'm familiar with.
I strongly recommend that my VIP experience was very below standard and require a refund of my whole groups VIP upgrade tickets.
