Review of Boogie By The Sea
Bass to high
Security clearance way too long and people were smoking dope in there so i have no idea how they got that in past the sniffer dogs! Music great but the getting in was poorly managed and the getting out was dangerous because of the darkness and crowd surge - could have opened more exits

Review of Boogie By The Sea
Attended Boogie by the Sea at the Oval Hastings East Sussex.
Had an amazing time with my daughter singing our hearts out to Boney M, Soul to Soul, Sister Sledge and Billy Ocean. The atmosphere was fantastic the weather was good and by the looks of it everyone had a great night. Would defo go again to something like this.

Review of Boogie By The Sea
Great event, apart from Boney M's set being cut short, only 3 song they were great. Everyone was upset about this. Soul to Soul didn't go down very well with us and the crowd. Sister Sledge and Billy Ocean were fantastic.

Review of Boogie By The Sea
We purchased VIP tickets but on arrival at the entrance there were absolutely no signs for VIP so we queued for 40 mins, couldnt find any staff to ask where to go, finally got inside by the security and were then directed to the VIP and were told we shoudnt have queued, not happy at all. Wine at the bar was £29 a bottle and was so disgusting we were unable to drink it, so tipped it away and drank water. We were a group of 20+ so the bar takings would have been considerably higher. Either let people take their own wine, or offer a better choice and quality. Music great.

Review of Boogie By The Sea
Only 3 songs from boney M, late coming on, then long gaps between acts, massive queues for food, over an hour in one, no food in VIP area, lots of security, but massive queues to get in. Good atmosphere and good acts, disappointing organisation.

Review of Boogie By The Sea
For an operator hosting many festivals, this was a total mess in every shape and form. No food/drink allowed. 1 gate for general entry, 1 for VIPs/accessibility disabled, only opened at the start of the event! It started late, no announcements given why, so the time lost needed to be found - 1 group's slot reduced to 4 songs changeover times were kept. An hour long queues for too few food vans, no seating, but no re entry allowed so no option to go out to eat and return at this seaside town, they could have introduced a hand stamp system. Only 1 water point if 4 taps, no cups so how were we meant to drink from the outdoor garden style hose taps. Nearly £30 a bottle of wine. No hot drink vendors - not everyone wants cold drinks at an event ending at 11pm. Don't even get me started on being disabled friendly 🙄 zero help when requested regarding the platform, they cherry picked people without a wristband, no entry allowed even with proof of hidden disabilities, no option to get a wristband on the day despite there being spaces available. I wouldn't recommend this organiser to anyone. Thumbs up to the dedicated ground rubbish collectors, they did a fantastic job keeping the event safe and tidy?'?

Review of Boogie By The Sea
Great venue and music with helpful, friendly staff. Just needed a bit more info on parking and what was available food and drinks wise. Also warning about queuing would be good. Some merchandise always goes down well too.
