Review of Hastings Reggae Festival 2024
attended with a disabled guest to the festival it was horrible for her, first off we were told all accessible tickets were sold out which is no surprise as you could fit maybe 10 people on the platform. we spoke to the lovely lady how was the security at the platform and she was very helpful and at around half 5 let us in to quite a large space behind the platform which had been empty all day, also the viewing platform was mostly taken up by a band members family which was wrong as you had people in wheelchairs out in the main arena why were they not moved on or told they can't be in the disabled section.
the sound was awful and an hour or more between acts was a little to long. atmosphere was ok not great but the food was outstanding and reasonably priced

Review of Hastings Reggae Festival 2024
The music was amazing on both days that I attended. Took me down memory lane.
Organisation and communication on day 1 was outstanding. I was very impressed by the level of security which made us feel safe. Also the team worked efficiently to keep the venue clean throughout the evening/day.
Already thinking of going again next year.
